I thought of you tonight,
And my smile became bright.
Even though we’re not together,
You’ll still be mine forever.
The way I feel for you,
Is something so true.
And even though we’re miles apart,
You still possess my heart.
Whether you want it or not,
My heart beat cannot stop.
There is only one thing it beats for,
Even if it hurts more and more.
You are what my heart craves,
More than the sound of an ocean’s waves.
The thought of your face,
Makes my heart race.
I wish your face would not leave,
But sadly, it must deceive.
For I know you are not here,
Oh, how I wish you were near.
But I know we cannot be,
It can never be "we".
